Reduce Solvent Consumption by up to 90%*
Compared to traditional 4.6mm columns, a 3.0mm id will result in over 50% solvent savings with otherwise little effect on chromatographic conditions. All that’s required is a simple conversion to a slower flowrate to produce equivalent linear velocity. While the results are more dramatic with decreasing id, keep in mind that system volume becomes more detrimental. To realize maximum benefits, optimize the system with small id plumbing and microbore injectors and detectors.
